I listened to the humming of my fathers Mercedes as I watched San Diego's city lights flash by, he had not said a word since we got in the car, before that he had taken a few minutes to put some stuff in his briefcase and then rushed me out the door and now he sat in the drivers seat looking very tense.

A football game was going on outside in the field so I decided to watch that while I waited to meet either a specter or a long lost relative. I wasn't much for sports but it was something to do, because I knew if I was honest with myself I was actually curious about this 'uncle' business.
I made my way to the top of the bleachers I knew it was a juvenile thing but I liked that I could see over the school when I was at the top and the student parking lot I could see almost everything I could even see where I had parked my car this morning.
